A microscopy library of exotic USA & AUS genetics: studied isolates and documented crosses worked by the Azurean Circle Society in the States and What The Fungi in Australia, worked under sterile protocol, and logged so provenance is never a mystery.
The Mush Realm began with a simple frustration: too many spore libraries treat genetics as an afterthought: a name on a label, a fuzzy photo, and no record of where a line came from or how it was prepared.
We built the opposite. Every strain in the collection is a studied isolate or a documented cross, traced back to its source genetic and logged batch-by-batch. We work with reference lines from respected breeders and preserve their credit rather than rebranding their work as our own. When you order a Whathefungi, Pan Cyans or Mushrealm line, it is catalogued as exactly that.
The result is a reference collection you can navigate the way a taxonomist would (by species, by format, by lineage) with the confidence that what's on the label matches what's in the vial.
Everything here is supplied strictly for microscopy, taxonomy and research. We are a genetics library, not a cultivation supplier, and we hold that line without exception.
Four principles hold the whole library together, from the source genetic to the vial in your hand.
Every syringe, swab and print is worked in a still-air or flow environment, then logged against its source genetic before it ever leaves the bench.
We preserve the provenance of the breeders whose genetics we catalogue, credited by name, never rebranded.
26 catalogued strains: isolates and documented crosses, each prepared under sterile protocol and supplied for microscopy use only.
